About the role
We are looking for a medior UX Designer to join our product team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping intuitive and consistent user experiences across our web applications. You’ll work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing to translate complex product requirements into clear, usable, and elegant designs.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you will help maintain design quality and continuity while also contributing your own ideas and improvements. You’ll join a startup environment where design has a strong voice and impact.
Key responsibilities
UX design
Collaborate closely with product management and go-to-market teams to clarify requirements, refine solutions, and ensure feasible implementations;
Translate complex workflows and technical concepts into intuitive and accessible user experiences;
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups using and extending our existing design system, based on product specifications and user needs;
Iterate quickly based on feedback from stakeholders, users, and usability testing;
Maintain a consistent, thoughtful, and high-quality product experience across the application;
Support frontend/UI implementation by working closely with engineers during handover and development;
Contribute to documenting UX patterns, decisions, and best practices.
Brand design
Design visuals for our corporate website, content, and marketing campaigns;
Own and evolve the brand design by maintaining and improving a shared style guide;
Create and refine logos, icons, and other visual assets where needed;
Design graphics, presentation templates, and content templates for internal and external use;
Produce basic print materials such as business cards, posters, banners, and stickers.
Assist our content writers for articles, socials and other publications with informative illustrations and/or diagrams.
Key qualifications
Experience in UX, product, or interaction design, with a strong eye for visual detail and clean, modular interfaces;
Solid understanding of UX fundamentals: user flows, information architecture, interaction design, and usability;
Strong proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma and experience working with a design system or component library;
Ability to work pragmatically in a product environment: ship, learn, iterate, and comfortable collaborating with product managers, engineers, and non-design stakeholders;
A portfolio demonstrating UX work as well as brand or visual design skills.
Nice to have
Experience with user research and usability testing;
Basic frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS), animation, or motion design;
Experience in a SaaS or startup environment.
This job is for you if
You are passionate about creating intuitive user experiences and enjoy translating customer problems and feature requests into clear, usable solutions. You like working in a collaborative startup environment, feel comfortable taking ownership, and enjoy working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
You are pragmatic, curious, and motivated to make an impact, even when dealing with complex domains.
What we offer
A full-time or part-time position in a fast-growing startup environment;
A competitive salary package, complemented by a range of local benefits;
Flexibility: we focus on your talents, not your location. Remote, hybrid, or on-site work is possible, as long as a minimal overlap of 4 working hours with the Brussels timezone is respected;
A culture that promotes growth through autonomy, ownership, and teamwork;
A strong commitment to an inclusive environment where diversity is valued and everyone is treated with fairness and respect;
Possibility to work as an employee or as a contractor.
