Timefold is an open-core software startup founded in 2023 - on a mission to free the world from wasteful scheduling! We are the next chapter of OptaPlanner, a field-proven, open-source solver originally created by Geoffrey De Smet, our CTO and co-founder.

Our headquarters are in Ghent, Belgium, in the magnificent and iconic Wintercircus building. The team operates remotely from various locations with hubs in Belgium, Czech Republic, and the US.

About the role

We are in search of a talented Frontend Software Developer. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing intuitive user interfaces for web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into functional frontend interfaces. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the user interface for the Timefold SaaS web application and Timefold website

• Integrate the frontend components with backend services and APIs

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into interactive web interfaces

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to support smooth deployment of the frondent code to production environments

Key Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and TypeScript

• High level of experience with React and server side rendering frameworks

• Understanding of backend technologies and APIs to effectively integrate with the frontend

• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Fluent in English

• Bonus: experience with Remix or Next.js and TailwindCSS

• Bonus: familiar with Cloudflare & its various services such as Workers & Pages
